Leon Hill was located by detectives in Atlanta on Thursday, Jan. 12, after being accused of killing 40-year-old Elaine Jackson on Oct. 18, 2022, according to Baltimore police.

Jackson was on her way to work when she was allegedly gunned down by Hill after a difficult breakup.

Hill had been named in a Peace Order filed by Jackson after their separation, claiming he continuously harassed her.

The mother of four was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital despite best efforts to save her.

Hill is currently being charged with first degree murder and is awaiting extradition back to Maryland.
